Celebrity Mortal Kombat Series
2023-Present
Celebrity Mortal Kombat is an early example of what I was exploring with AI media: could synthetic images and video become repeatable internet entertainment, not just one-off novelty? The premise is simple: celebrities reimagined as Mortal Kombat fighters, with the roster logic, costumes, voice, and combat presentation pushed until it feels like a real alternate franchise.
The project is mostly a format test: familiar people, game nostalgia, quick character reads, and just enough production texture to make the fake roster feel coherent.
The newer editions lean harder on the AI toolkit. I use Flux to shape fighter silhouettes, Midjourney and GPT Imagen-1 for wardrobe and personality boards, Kling / Veo3 / Minimax for turning the images into video, and ElevenLabs + GPT for voiceover banter before finishing everything in Photoshop and Premiere. Each version lets me make the roster feel a little bigger and more believable, while keeping the core joke simple: celebrities dropped into a fighting-game universe that should not exist, but somehow does.

2025 Edition
I keep pushing the mashup engine in 2025, stitching together upgraded diffusion workflows, new celebrity matchups, and faster iteration loops while keeping the tongue-in-cheek tone.
2024 Edition
I rely on Flux, Midjourney, GPT Imagen-1, GPT, ElevenLabs, Kling, Veo3, Minimax, Photoshop, and Premiere to spin up the 2024 roster. Each tool handles a specific part of the pipeline - images, video, voice, editing - so the characters feel like they belong in the same arena.
2023 Edition Videos
The original series from 2023. I assembled each fighter by combining image generation, prompt iteration, AI video, voice lines, and manual finishing. That early version set the core format before the newer tools made the pipeline faster and more consistent.
