Runway of Power
Runway of Power was my attempt to see whether AI video could create a new kind of political pop-culture moment: recognizable world leaders, impossible runway looks, and enough realism that people immediately understood the joke before they understood the workflow.
I made it in 2024 using Midjourney for the images and Luma for the video. The idea was simple on the surface, but the real experiment was format: could generated media turn politics into a fashion meme that worked in the feed, not like a tech demo?
The part I keep returning to is the container: a clear premise, high-recognition subjects, surreal realism, and a loop that does not need much explanation.
