Runway of Power began as a weekend project: recognizable world leaders in impossible runway looks, played with the seriousness of a real fashion show. The joke needed to register before anyone stopped to wonder how it was made.
I made it in 2024 using Midjourney for the images and Luma for the video. The combination gave me enough realism to preserve each person's likeness while letting the clothing become completely absurd.
To my surprise, it went viral on Reddit and other platforms before Elon Musk reposted it on X. The video passed 150 million views and became one of the most widely seen pieces I have made.
